The large bowl of ultra-thin crystal does exactly what you want: those lovely fruity aromas of a Burgundy or an elegant Nebbiolo come through fully, while the acidity stays soft and pleasant. I always recommend this kind of glass to anyone who takes tasting seriously, because you notice the difference from an ordinary glass right away in your first sip. Having four glasses in a set is also simply practical, you can put a nice bottle of wine on the table with friends without anyone having to wait.

Riedel crystal glasses are thin-walled and delicate — hand washing is the safest option. Use lukewarm water and a mild dish soap, and dry the glasses immediately with a soft, lint-free cloth to prevent water spots. Do not place the glasses directly next to other items in the sink to avoid knocks and scratches.

Insanely fast delivery. I ordered on Sunday at lunch and got the package Monday evening in Brussels. The glasses came packaged in an additional box with carton and none of them were broken.
