About Cookinglife

FAQ

How do I best clean these coasters?

These coasters are made of supple faux leather, which makes maintenance very easy. Simply wipe them clean after use with a damp cloth — that’s all you need. This keeps them looking neat use after use.

Are these coasters suitable for hot pans or pots?

These coasters are designed to protect your table from rings and stains from glasses, cups and the like. They are made of faux leather and are not intended as trivets for hot cookware or hot oven dishes. Use them for tableware and drinkware on the table.

Can I use both sides interchangeably for a varied table setting?

Yes, absolutely. The coasters are double-sided — light gray on one side, blue on the other. That means you can mix and match within a single set or quickly change the look. This creates a playful, varied arrangement on the table. The set includes 6 coasters, each with a diameter of 10 cm.

What sizes of glasses or cups are these coasters suitable for?

Each coaster has a diameter of 10 centimeters. That’s a common size that fits most standard glasses, coffee cups, teacups and small bowls. For extra-wide wine glasses or large mugs with a wide base, it’s wise to check the diameter of the bottom before use.

Can these coasters be washed in the dishwasher?

No, the coasters are made of faux leather (vegan leather) and are not dishwasher safe. Clean them only with a damp cloth. That way you preserve the suppleness and appearance of the material for as long as possible.

Mooie chique onderzetters. Ook makkelijk schoon te maken.

Lida V. 5/5 Verified June 3, 2025

Die Untersetzer sehen gut aus und erfüllen ihren Zweck. Ausserdem finde ich es gut, dass man sie beidseitig nutzen kann und man somit sowohl blaue als auch graue Untersetzer hat.
