Are these Riedel champagne glasses dishwasher-safe?
Riedel recommends washing their glasses by hand. This preserves the clarity of the high-quality glass for longer and prevents micro-scratches that occur from repeated machine washing. Use lukewarm water, a mild dish soap, and a soft cloth or sponge.
What drinks are these champagne glasses suitable for?
The slender bowl shape is specially designed for sparkling wines. So you can use them not only for champagne, but also for: • Prosecco • Cava • Other sparkling wines The elegant bowl emphasizes the bubbles and lets the aromas develop to their fullest.
How many glasses are in the package?
The package contains 4 champagne glasses. That's enough for a celebratory toast with a small group.
How should I dry these glasses to avoid streaks?
Dry the glasses immediately after washing with a clean, lint-free glass cloth — preferably microfiber or linen. Hold the glass by the stem and gently twist, so you don't leave fingerprints on the bowl. Never let the glasses air-dry, as that causes hard-water streaks on the clear glass.
How should I store these champagne glasses?
Store the glasses upright — never upside down — on a clean, flat surface or in a cabinet with enough space between the glasses. This prevents the thin rim of the bowl from becoming damaged. Stacking is not recommended, as the clear glass is vulnerable to scratches and breakage.
