FAQ

Is this braising pan suitable for all heat sources, including induction?

Yes, the Cosy & Trendy Fontestic braadpan works on any heat source — including induction. Cast iron conducts heat excellently and distributes it evenly across the whole pan, making it suitable for gas, electric, ceramic and induction.

Can I use this braising pan in the oven as well?

Cast-iron braising pans are ideal for oven use. The material withstands high temperatures and easily goes from the stovetop to the oven — perfect for dishes you first sear and then let cook slowly. • From stovetop to oven: no problem • The lid can go in the oven too • The sturdy handles provide a safe grip

How do I properly care for the enameled interior?

The enameled non-stick coating makes maintenance simple. A few practical tips: • Let the pan cool down before cleaning — sudden temperature changes are not good for the enamel. • Preferably wash the pan by hand with warm water and a soft sponge. • Do not use metal scouring pads to protect the enameled surface. • The interior does not need to be seasoned like uncoated cast iron. With careful treatment, the enameled coating will remain in good condition for years.

What's included in the box — is the lid included?

Yes, the lid is included. You will receive the pan with the matching lid. The lid features special droplets on the inside, which cause moisture to fall evenly back onto the dish while cooking. This keeps stews and meat dishes juicy.

In which colors is the Fontestic braadpan available?

The Cosy & Trendy Fontestic braadpan is available in three colors: • Green Heron (sage green) • Rust (warm terracotta) • Amber Gold (warm golden yellow) All three variants are available in the same size of Ø 28 cm / 6.8 liters.

Heel nuttige multifunctionele pan, houdt warmte goed vast. Ik bak er ook knapperig brood in. Mooi bovendien.

Trees A. 4/5 Verified May 17, 2025

E.c. V. 4/5 Verified May 16, 2025

Ik kocht de pot in het geel. Is heel mooi.
