FAQ

Does this roasting pan work on induction?

Yes, the Cosy & Trendy Fontestic roasting pan works on any heat source — including induction. Cast iron is naturally suitable for gas, electric, ceramic and induction. That means you can place it on your stove without any problem, whatever type it is.

Can I use this roasting pan in the oven?

Absolutely. Cast iron and the oven are a proven combination. The Fontestic roasting pan retains heat exceptionally well and is fully ovenproof. Ideal for dishes that you sear first on the stovetop and then let cook slowly in the oven.

How do I care for the enameled interior of this roasting pan?

The enameled non-stick coating is durable, but you’ll keep it in top condition longest with a few simple habits: • Wash the pan after use with warm water and a soft sponge. • Avoid abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads — they damage the enamel. • Let the pan cool completely before placing it in water to prevent thermal shock. With the right care this pan will last for years.

What is the 28 cm / 6.8 liter size suitable for?

With a capacity of 6.8 liters and a diameter of 28 cm, this roasting pan is ideal for family meals or when you’re cooking for several guests. Think of: • Stews and braised meat for 4 to 6 people • Juicy roast or chicken with vegetables • Soups and one-pot dishes in large portions The sturdy handles make it comfortable to move the filled pan.

What does the lid with droplets do exactly?

The lid of the Fontestic roasting pan has a special droplet design on the inside. During cooking condensation collects on the lid, and the droplet structure ensures this moisture falls back evenly over the dish. That keeps stews and meats continuously moist and prevents your dish from drying out.

Trees A. 4/5 Verified May 17, 2025

E.c. V. 4/5 Verified May 16, 2025

Ik kocht de pot in het geel. Is heel mooi.

Karel N. 4/5 Verified March 15, 2025

Evenals de ovale pan perfect.
