How do I make my WoodWick candle burn as long as possible?

A few smart habits really make a difference: • First lighting: let the candle burn until the entire top layer of wax has melted. This prevents tunneling and avoids wasting wax. • Trim the wick: trim the wooden wick after each use to about 3–4 mm. A wick that’s too long creates a large flame and causes faster melting. • Burn time per session: limit each burn session to preferably no more than 4 hours for safe and even use. This candle has a total burn time of approximately 20 hours.

What’s the best way to light a wooden wick?

A wooden wick behaves differently from a cotton wick — slightly different technique, but no problem. • Hold the lighter or match horizontally along the full width of the wick. This helps the wood ignite evenly. • Give the flame a moment to catch; wood needs a few seconds longer than cotton. • If it doesn’t light immediately, trim the burnt end of the wick short and try again. The wooden wick also produces the characteristic soothing crackle once it’s burning.

Is the WoodWick Mini scented candle suitable for use in a small space?

Yes, the mini size is actually ideal for that. At 8 cm high and 7 cm in diameter the candle fits easily on a bedside table, in the bathroom, or on a small countertop.
