FAQ

How do I properly care for the wooden wick?

A wooden wick requires slightly different attention than a regular cotton wick — but it’s simple. Here’s what to do: • Trim the wick before each burn. Cut the burnt tip away to about 3–5 mm. This helps the candle burn more evenly and gives a pleasant crackle. • Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time. After that, let it cool before lighting it again. • Place it on a flat, safe surface. The candle should stand upright for an even flame and fragrance distribution. With these simple steps you’ll get the most out of every burn.

How strong is the scent throw of these candles?

The WoodWick Giftset contains medium-scented candles — and they are suitable for larger rooms. Think of a spacious living room or an open-plan kitchen. The combination of the wooden wick and the WoodWick-wax provides a long-lasting, even scent throw throughout the room.

Is this giftset suitable as a gift?

Yes, absolutely. The set contains two scented candles in a luxurious glass design — Fireside én Linen — and is packaged as a giftset. The glass design gives the set a stylish look that’s ready to give. The two different scents also make it a versatile gift: the recipient can choose which atmosphere they want to create.

What is the difference between the Fireside and Linen scents?

The set combines two scents that each create their own atmosphere: • Fireside — a warm, smoky scent reminiscent of a crackling hearth. Perfect for a cozy, intimate evening. • Linen — a fresh, clean scent reminiscent of just-washed linen. Calming and airy. Together they offer a versatile fragrance experience for different moments and moods.

What’s the best way to store the candles when I’m not using them?

Store the candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Sunlight and heat can melt or discolor the wax and affect the scent. Cover the candles or keep them in the original packaging to prevent dust on the wax and the wick. This keeps them in top condition until you light them.
