The scents of WoodWick will not easily pass you by! The fragrances are carefully selected and tested to fill your living room or car with refined aromas. For example, choose the scent: 'Linen': a fresh scent of clean laundry. Or go for a spicy scent of cinnamon, softened with vanilla. Can't decide on a scent? How long does a WoodWick candle burn?

WoodWick candles are available in different sizes. The number of burn hours a candle has depends on its size. At Cookinglife, you will find various sizes of WoodWick candles. The number of burn hours per size can be found in the list below.

Large
- The WoodWick large candle has a diameter of 10.2 centimeters and is 17.8 centimeters tall. It contains approximately 130 burn hours.
Medium
- The WoodWick medium candle has a diameter of 9.9 centimeters and is 11.4 centimeters tall. It contains approximately 60 burn hours.
Mini
- The WoodWick mini candle has a diameter of 7 centimeters and is 8.3 centimeters tall. It contains approximately 20 burn hours.
Ellipse
- The WoodWick Ellipse candle measures 12.1 centimeters wide, 19.1 centimeters long, and 9.2 centimeters high. It contains approximately 50 burn hours.

How do you burn a WoodWick candle?

WoodWick candles are unique due to the wooden wicks used. This wick is cross-shaped, made from natural wood, and finally dipped in natural resin. This makes a WoodWick candle unique, but it also requires different maintenance than candles with a regular wick. Below are some tips on how to best use the candles.

Preferably let the candle burn for 4 to 5 hours. This allows you to enjoy optimal scent and pooling*. Burning longer than 5 hours in a row is not recommended, as the candle will start to tunnel*.
Make sure to regularly trim the wooden wick. The wick should always stick out a maximum of 0.5 centimeters above the candle. This allows the candle to burn better and more beautifully, and also prevents soot formation. You can trim the candle by waiting until the candle has solidified, then gently tapping the wick after solidification. The wick will break off. Repeat this until the desired length is reached.
When the candle is completely cooled and solidified, you can replace the lid.

*Pooling: this means that the wax melts evenly. The candle burns beautifully and evenly, allowing you to enjoy the maximum number of burn hours.

*Tunneling: this means that the wax does not melt evenly. This creates a tunnel in the candle, and the wax that remains at the edge of the candle can no longer be used. As a result, you enjoy fewer burn hours.
