How long does the WoodWick Cinnamon Chai candle burn?

The WoodWick Cinnamon Chai Large has a long burn time: you’ll get about 130 hours of burn time. That makes it especially good value — you can enjoy that warm aroma of cinnamon, vanilla and caramelized sugar for weeks or even months.

How do I properly care for the wooden wick?

A wooden wick requires a bit more attention than a regular cotton wick, but it's simple: • Trim the wick before each lighting to about 3–5 mm. This helps it burn evenly and prevents soot or smoke. • For the first burn, let the candle burn for at least 2 to 3 hours until the entire top is melted. This prevents tunneling in the wax. • Make sure no charred pieces fall into the wax — they can smother the wick. With a little care the crackling, fireplace-like sound will remain noticeable throughout the candle's life.

What are the dimensions of this candle?

The WoodWick Cinnamon Chai Large has the following dimensions: • Height: 18 cm • Diameter: ø 10 cm The candle is housed in a glass jar, which makes it stable and suitable for a table, windowsill or side table.

Is the candle's glass jar reusable once the candle is finished?

Yes, the glass jar is great for reuse. If the candle is nearly finished (about 1 cm of wax remaining), it's time to stop burning — this protects the glass from overheating. • Remove the remaining wax by placing the jar in warm water for a few minutes; the wax will then release on its own. • Then wash the jar with warm water and some dish soap. • Then use the empty jar as a pen holder, plant pot or storage jar — it's a shame to throw it away. The jar is made of glass and can therefore be reused in many ways after cleaning.

On what surface should I place the candle?

Always place the WoodWick Cinnamon Chai on a heat-resistant, stable and level surface. Think of a ceramic coaster, a stone tray or a dedicated candle plate. • Avoid wooden or plastic surfaces directly under the candle — the glass base can get hot during prolonged burning. • Keep the candle away from curtains, paper and other flammable materials. • Do not place it in a drafty area; wind disturbs the flame and the crackling sound of the wooden wick. A stable, heat-resistant surface ensures a safe and optimal burning experience.
