A lid fits every jar! These Sareva silicone freshness lids prove it. The red lids close your bowls, dishes and plates, in which mould anything, airtight. About Sareva

FAQ

Can I use these silicone storage lids in the freezer or microwave?

The Sareva storage lids are made from flexible, BPA-free silicone — a material that withstands both cold and high temperatures. They are perfectly suitable for use in the refrigerator and freezer. For the microwave: silicone is generally heat-resistant, but always check the maximum temperature your specific microwave can reach and do not use the lids as a sealed cover for pressure cooking or steaming under pressure. In any case, the lids are reliably leak-proof and airtight, making them ideal for longer storage in the refrigerator or freezer.

Do these lids also fit bowls and dishes with an irregular or oval shape?

Yes, and that’s exactly the clever thing about this set. The silicone lids are flexible and stretchable, so they fit not only round but also oval or slightly irregular bowls, dishes and plates. With the tabs on the side you can easily pull the lid over the rim of your dish and it sits securely and airtight. The set contains six lids in the following diameters: • ø 6 cm • ø 9 cm • ø 12 cm • ø 15 cm • ø 18 cm That way you have an appropriate size for almost every bowl or dish in your kitchen.

How do I clean the storage lids properly?

Cleaning is easy: the Sareva silicone storage lids are dishwasher-safe. You can put them directly in the dishwasher after use and they’ll come out clean. If you prefer to wash them by hand, that’s of course possible with warm water and dish soap. Silicone generally doesn’t absorb odors or colors, but with strongly colored foods (such as tomato sauce) slight discoloration may occur over time — that’s normal for silicone material.

How many lids are in the set and what are the exact sizes?

The set contains 6 silicone storage lids in six different sizes, so you’ll have the right size for every bowl or dish at hand. These are the diameters: • ø 6 cm • ø 9 cm • ø 12 cm • ø 15 cm • ø 18 cm Together they cover a wide range of bowls, dishes, jars and plates.

Are these lids safe in contact with food?

Yes, absolutely. The Sareva storage lids are BPA-free, which means they do not contain harmful bisphenol A — a substance found in some plastics that you’d rather not have come into contact with your food. Silicone is a material that has been used in the food industry for years, precisely because of its safety and durability. The lids also seal your food airtight and leak-proof, which helps preserve freshness for longer.
