No fireplace needed - just the WoodWick Ellipse Scented Candle Vanilla & Sea Salt. This is not an ordinary candle. This is an atmosphere creator that engages all your senses.
More than just a fragrance - a complete experience
What makes the WoodWick Ellipse so special is that it goes beyond just scent. The patented Hearthwick® wooden wick creates a wide, dancing flame that gently crackles - just like a real fireplace. You hear it, you see it, you smell it. That’s the difference between lighting a candle and creating a moment.
- Crackling fireplace effect - The wooden Hearthwick® wick produces a recognizable, soothing crackling flame that instantly relaxes you.
- Rich scent experience - The ellipse shape provides a wider wax surface, allowing the scent to spread fuller and more consistently throughout the room.
- Up to 50 burn hours - Long-lasting enjoyment without hassle: premium soy and paraffin wax for an even, clean burn.
- Multidimensional scent - From fresh top notes of marine and apple to the warm base of musk and vanilla - a scent that evolves as it burns.
- Made in the USA - WoodWick stands for artisanal quality with carefully selected ingredients.
The scent: Vanilla & Sea Salt - soft, fresh, and profound
This fragrance is a nod to that perfect summer evening by the water. The top notes of marine, fruit, and apple open fresh and light - almost like a sea breeze blowing through a garden of ripe apples. Then the candle reveals its heart: jasmine, thrush, and rose provide a floral warmth that fills the room without being intrusive. And as the candle burns steadily, the base notes of musk, vanilla, and wood tones emerge - soft, sensual, and long-lasting.
The result? A scent that fits just as well with a relaxed Sunday afternoon on the couch as it does with a cozy dinner with friends. Vanilla & Sea Salt is versatile, comfortable, and yet surprisingly refined.
The Hearthwick® wick: technology you can hear
Behind that calm flame lies real innovation. WoodWick developed the Hearthwick® wick specifically to produce a wider, more even flame than a regular round wick. That width has a direct consequence: the wax melts faster and more uniformly across the entire surface of the candle. No dark edges, no uneven burning - just a fully melted wax layer that releases the scent optimally.
And then there’s that sound. The soft crackling is not an afterthought - it’s a deliberate choice by WoodWick. The sound activates something in your brain that is associated with warmth, safety, and relaxation. A small detail with a big effect on how you experience the candle.
The ellipse shape: designed for more scent
Why an ellipse? Not just because it looks tasteful - although that pink glass bowl is definitely a showstopper on any sideboard, table, or bathroom counter. The ellipse shape is functionally thought out: the wide, oval opening creates a larger wax surface than a round candle of comparable size. A larger surface means more room for the scent to escape. You can really smell the difference.
With dimensions of 19 x 12 cm and a weight of 1.5 kg, this is no small item. This is a statement piece that sets the mood in the room - and with 50 burn hours, it does so long and consistently.
💡 Cookinglife Tip: Let the candle burn for at least 2 to 3 hours the first time until the wax has melted over the entire surface. This prevents tunneling and maximizes each burn - both in terms of scent and burn time. Trim the wick to about 3 mm before each use for the best flame and crackling sound.
A gift that makes an impression
Looking for something for someone who is hard to surprise? The WoodWick Ellipse Vanilla & Sea Salt is one of those gifts where you immediately know: this is it. The pink glass bowl looks chic, the scent is accessible but never boring, and the crackling sound makes the first lighting a small moment of discovery. For yourself, for a birthday, for a housewarming - this candle always fits.
