About Marcato

FAQ

Which pasta machine does this attachment work with?

This attachment is specially designed for the Marcato Atlas 150. Do you have a different Marcato model, or a pasta machine from another brand? Then unfortunately this attachment will not fit. Always check that you have the Atlas 150 at home before ordering this attachment.

Which setting should I use on my Atlas 150 for the best spaghetti?

For the best result use the Atlas 150 on setting 4. At that setting the dough is rolled to the correct thickness for spaghetti with a diameter of 2 mm. If you use a different setting, the pasta may turn out too thick or too thin.

Can I also use this attachment with a motor?

No, this attachment is intended for manual use only. You operate it by hand, without an electric motor. If you want to use a motor drive, check whether a motor-compatible attachment is available for your Atlas 150.

How do I change the attachment on my Atlas 150?

Changing it is simple and quick: • Is there already another attachment on the Atlas 150? Remove that first. • Then slide the spaghetti attachment onto the machine. Make sure the attachment is securely attached before you start making pasta.

What type of pasta does this specific attachment make?

With this attachment you make spaghetti, a classic Italian pasta with a round cross-section of 2 mm. Want to make other pasta types, like tagliatelle or fettuccine? Then you'll need a different attachment that fits the Atlas 150.
