This pasta machine attachment fits all Marcato pasta machines that are newer than 1998. You attach it to the side of the pasta machine and as soon as you turn it on then the cutting rollers start running. The only thing left to do then is to put the pasta dough into the pasta machine from the top.

Does the Pastadrive fit my existing Marcato pasta machine?

The Marcato Pastadrive is compatible with all Marcato pasta machines made after 1998. You attach the motor easily to the side of your machine. Do you have a Marcato older than 1998? Then unfortunately this motor is not suitable for your machine.

Is a pasta machine included?

No, the Marcato Pastadrive is supplied without a pasta machine. You are only buying the motor attachment here. So you already need a suitable Marcato pasta machine to use the Pastadrive.

How do I attach the Pastadrive to my pasta machine?

You mount the Pastadrive on the side of your Marcato pasta machine — where the manual crank normally sits. Once you switch on the motor, the rollers turn automatically. After that you only need to feed the pasta dough into the machine from above.

Can I use the Pastadrive for all kinds of pasta dough?

Yes, the Pastadrive works with your Marcato pasta machine in the same way as the manual crank — only without you having to turn it. As long as your dough is suitable for your pasta machine, you can simply feed it in from above while the motor does the work. Make sure your dough is well kneaded and firm enough for use in a pasta machine; dough that is too sticky or too wet can jam, whether you use the motor or the manual crank.

Who is the Pastadrive a smart purchase for?

The Pastadrive is ideal if you regularly make fresh pasta and find manual turning tiring or awkward. Think of situations where you process larger quantities of dough, or when you want your hands free at the same time to guide the dough properly. The motor takes over the turning completely, so you can focus entirely on the dough itself.
