Fancy fresh pasta? With the Marcato pasta machine attachment you can make your own delicious pasta. Each Italian region has its own thicknesses and widths for pasta. With the attachments for the Marcato Atlas 150 you can make different pastas.

This attachment is suitable for bigoli, a type of pasta with a round diameter of 3.5 mm. It is recommended to set the Atlas 150 on position 2 for best results. You can use the attachment either by hand or with the Marcato Pasta machine motor / Pastadrive.

How it works:

If there is an attachment on it that you don't want to use, remove it from the Atlas 150.

Yes, that works fine. You can use the Bigoli-opzetstuk both by hand and together with the Marcato Pastamachinemotor (also called the Pastadrive). The motor takes over the turning, which is handy when you make larger quantities of pasta.

Which setting should I use on the Atlas 150 for the best bigoli?

For the best result with this attachment set the Marcato Atlas 150 on setting 2. At that thickness the dough is just right to push the bigoli — with a round diameter of 3.5 mm — through the attachment evenly and tightly.

How do I swap the Bigoli-opzetstuk for another attachment?

Changing is simple. If there is already an attachment on the Atlas 150 that you don't want to use, remove it first before fitting the Bigoli-opzetstuk. That prevents the machine from jamming and ensures a clean switch to another pasta shape.

What type of pasta do I make with this attachment?

With this attachment you make bigoli, a traditional Italian pasta with a round cross-section of 3.5 mm. Bigoli is a thick, coarse spaghetti-style pasta originally from the Veneto region and pairs well with hearty sauces.
