FAQ
Can I wash these placemats in the dishwasher?
No, these placemats and coasters are not suitable for the dishwasher. The vegan leather is sensitive to water, so prolonged exposure to moisture should be avoided. Clean them easily with a lightly damp cloth — stains and dirt can be removed in no time. For first use, it’s helpful to wipe the placemats and coasters with a damp cloth to remove any dust.
How should I store these placemats so they stay looking good for a long time?
Store the placemats and coasters flat to prevent deformation. A few concrete tips: • Avoid sharp objects on the surface. • Do not expose them to prolonged moisture — the material is water-sensitive. • Clean them after use with a damp cloth and let them dry thoroughly before storing. Because the placemats are double-sided, simply flip them when one side shows more wear — that significantly extends their lifespan.
What exactly is included in this set?
The set consists of 12 pieces in total: • 6 round placemats made of vegan leather in black (Ø 38 cm) • 6 round coasters made of vegan leather in black (Ø 10 cm) Both are finished double-sided and made from the same high-quality synthetic leather with a chic leather-look.
Are these placemats suitable for use under hot pans or dishes?
The placemats and coasters are made of vegan synthetic leather and are intended to protect your table from stains, scratches and rings. They are not designed as trivets for very hot pans or oven dishes — the material is not heat-resistant. The included coasters (Ø 10 cm) are ideal as a base for glasses, cups or small decorative items like candles.
Can I also use the placemats decoratively, for example for table styling?
Absolutely! The round placemats (Ø 38 cm) and coasters (Ø 10 cm) are great for more than just protection during meals. You can also use them as a stylish base for decorative table bowls, candles or other accessories — the chic black leather-look fits seamlessly with a well-presented table. Because they are double-sided, you also always have a fresh side available.
