FAQ

Is this grill pan suitable for induction?

Yes, the Cosy & Trendy Fontestic grill pan works on all heat sources — including induction, gas, electric and ceramic. Cast iron conducts heat excellently and distributes it evenly across the pan, creating a nice and consistent grill pattern. The pan is also oven-safe up to 240 degrees Celsius.

How should I care for the enameled non-stick coating?

The enameled surface of this pan is durable, but requires a bit of care: • Do not use metal utensils that can damage the enamel — choose wooden or silicone spatulas and tongs. • Do not heat the pan dry; a small amount of oil or butter protects the coating. • Let the pan cool slightly after use before cleaning to avoid thermal shock. The pan is dishwasher-safe, although hand washing with warm water and a soft sponge will extend the enamel’s lifespan.

Can I use this grill pan in the oven?

Absolutely. The Fontestic grill pan is oven-safe up to 240 degrees Celsius. That makes it ideal for dishes where you first sear on the stovetop and then finish in the oven — think of a thick piece of meat or grilled vegetables that need to continue cooking. Be sure to use oven mitts, as the handle also becomes hot.

How large is the pan and how many people does it serve?

The grill pan has a diameter of 28 cm. It’s a versatile size: roomy enough for two generous steaks or a substantial portion of vegetables side by side, and compact enough to handle easily. For larger groups you can cook in multiple batches; the cast‑iron core stays hot for a long time after the heat source is turned off.

What comes with this grill pan?

With the Cosy & Trendy Fontestic grill pan you receive the pan itself in the color Amber Gold, Ø 28 cm. No additional accessories such as a lid or grill press are included.

Trees A. 4/5 Verified May 17, 2025

E.c. V. 4/5 Verified May 16, 2025

Ik kocht de pot in het geel. Is heel mooi.
