FAQ

Is this cutlery dishwasher safe?

Yes, the Sola Lotus cutlery set is fully dishwasher safe. This is due to the composition of the material: 18/10 stainless steel, an alloy of 18 parts chromium and 10 parts nickel. That combination makes the cutlery stainless and resistant to the heat and moisture in the dishwasher.

For how many people is this cutlery set suitable?

This set is composed for 6 people. The 50 pieces are divided among the most commonly used cutlery types so you'll have what you need at the table for everyone: • 6x dinner knife • 6x dinner fork • 6x dinner spoon • 6x dessert knife • 6x dessert fork • 6x dessert spoon • 6x coffee spoon • 6x cake fork • 1x serving spoon • 1x sauce spoon

Why is 18/10 stainless steel a good choice for cutlery?

18/10 stainless steel is a steel alloy of 18 parts chromium and 10 parts nickel. That ratio provides two benefits: the cutlery does not rust and it retains its silvery-white shine even after frequent use. It is a proven material that performs reliably time and time again.

What exactly is included in the set — and is anything missing for a complete table?

The set contains 50 pieces and covers the main course, dessert and coffee completely. This is what you get: • 6x dinner knife, dinner fork and dinner spoon — for the main course • 6x dessert knife, dessert fork and dessert spoon — for dessert • 6x coffee spoon and cake fork — for coffee and cake • 1x serving spoon and 1x sauce spoon — for serving at the table For a dinner for 6 people, this set gives you everything you need.

How do I keep this cutlery in good condition and prevent stains or discoloration?

Thanks to the 18/10 stainless steel, this cutlery is stainless and low-maintenance. A few practical tips to keep it looking its best: • Wash the cutlery promptly after use so food residues don't sit for long. • Do not use abrasive cleaners — they will scratch the surface. • Remove the cutlery from the dishwasher promptly and dry it immediately to prevent water spots. • Store the cutlery dry; avoid keeping it in damp conditions for long periods. The cutlery is suitable for the dishwasher.
