FAQ

Is dit bestek vaatwasserbestendig?

Yes, the Sola Fleurie cutlery set is fully dishwasher-safe. That's due to the material: 18/10 stainless steel, an alloy of 18 parts chromium steel and 10 parts nickel. That combination makes the cutlery stainless and able to withstand the conditions inside a dishwasher.

Good care is simple. Follow these practical rules: • Wash the cutlery preferably soon after use — do not leave it soaking in water for a long time. • Salt and acidic foods (like lemon juice or vinegar) can attack the stainless steel if you leave the cutlery in them for a long time — rinse promptly. • Dry the cutlery thoroughly after washing to prevent water spots. • Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool; a soft cloth is sufficient. The 18/10 stainless steel is naturally stainless and retains its silvery-white shine with normal use and proper care.

The set is designed for 9 people and contains a total of 90 pieces. This is what you get: • 9 dinner knives • 9 dinner forks • 9 dinner spoons • 9 dessert knives • 9 dessert forks • 9 dessert spoons • 9 cocktail/ice-cream spoons • 9 cocktail/cake forks • 12 teaspoons • 1 sauce spoon • 2 serving spoons • 1 salad spoon • 1 salad fork • 1 cake server The set therefore contains not only place settings for each person, but also serving cutlery for the table.

The Fleurie is well suited for both. Thanks to the gentle curves and light weight it feels comfortable in the hand — even for everyday use. The subtle design with the elegant dewdrop at the end of the handle is refined enough for a festive dinner, yet not so pronounced that it wouldn't suit an ordinary weekday meal. 18/10 stainless steel is also durable, so the set stands up well to regular use.

The Sola Fleurie is made of silvery-white 18/10 stainless steel. The designation '18/10' refers to the composition of the steel: • 18 refers to the chromium content — this provides the rust-resistant property. • 10 refers to the nickel content — this gives the cutlery its shiny, silvery-white appearance and extra strength. 18/10 stainless steel is regarded as the high-quality standard in cutlery and is appreciated for its durability and ease of care.
