Is dit bestek vaatwasserbestendig?
Yes, the Sola Bestekset Lima is fully dishwasher-safe. You don’t have to wash up by hand after an elaborate dinner — just place the cutlery in the dishwasher and you’re done. The 18/10 stainless steel is resistant to corrosion, so the cutlery retains its quality even after frequent machine washing.

Wat betekent '18/10 roestvrij staal' en waarom maakt dat uit?
18/10 stainless steel refers to the composition of the material: 18% chromium and 10% nickel. Chromium provides rust resistance, while nickel gives the cutlery its shiny, silvery appearance and extra hardness. This is the highest quality grade for stainless-steel cutlery — it lasts a long time, does not discolor and remains resistant to moisture and acids from food.

A few practical tips: • Dishwasher: the cutlery is dishwasher-safe — use a regular dishwasher detergent and do not leave it sitting wet for too long after the wash cycle. • Wipe dry: wiping dry immediately after washing prevents water spots and keeps the shine optimal. • Storage: store the cutlery dry, preferably in a cutlery tray or case, so the hammered handles do not get scratched unnecessarily.
