FAQ

Is this cutlery dishwasher-safe?

Yes, the Sola Florence cutlery set is fully dishwasher-safe. This is due to the material: 18/10 stainless steel, an alloy with 18% chromium and 10% nickel. That composition ensures the cutlery remains rust-free, even after repeated use in the dishwasher.

How should I care for this cutlery?

The Sola Florence cutlery set requires little maintenance — that is precisely the strength of 18/10 stainless steel. A few practical tips: • Wash the cutlery preferably soon after use so food residues don’t become ingrained. • Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool, as these can damage the shine. • Allow the cutlery to dry well after the dishwasher to prevent water spots. • The stainless alloy protects the cutlery against discoloration and corrosion under normal use. Thanks to the robust composition, this cutlery is built to last for years.

How many people is this set suitable for and what exactly is included?

The Sola Florence cutlery set is designed for 6 people and contains a total of 50 pieces. The set includes: • 6 x Dinner knife • 6 x Dinner fork • 6 x Dinner spoon • 6 x Dessert knife • 6 x Dessert fork • 6 x Dessert spoon • 6 x Coffee spoon • 6 x Cake fork • 1 x Serving spoon • 1 x Sauce ladle Thanks to the two serving pieces, the set is also fully equipped for serving at the table.

What does '18/10 stainless steel' mean and why does it matter?

18/10 stainless steel refers to a stainless steel alloy with 18% chromium and 10% nickel. Chromium provides rust resistance, while nickel increases the shine and hardness of the cutlery. The higher the nickel content, the more durable and shinier the final result. 18/10 is the highest quality grade for stainless steel cutlery and is considered the most wear-resistant and low-maintenance option.

Is this cutlery suitable for everyday use or is it more for special occasions?

The Sola Florence cutlery set is designed so you can use it both daily and on special occasions. The 18/10 stainless steel is robust enough for everyday use, while the timeless design — inspired by the simple round shapes of Florence — also looks great on a festively set table. The comfortable grooved handle makes the cutlery pleasant to hold at every meal. The set includes both table and dessert cutlery as well as serving pieces, making it versatile.
