Is this cutlery dishwasher-safe?
Good news: the cutlery is made of high-quality stainless steel (RVS), which is naturally resistant to moisture and rust. In most cases, stainless steel cutlery can be safely cleaned in the dishwasher. Keep a few things in mind: • Use a mild dishwasher detergent without harsh chemicals. • Don’t leave the cutlery wet in the machine for too long after the wash — drying it immediately is better. • This helps preserve the shine and the elegant finish of the handles for longer. With a little care, stainless steel cutlery will last for years.
How should I store the cutlery set?
The Laguiole cutlery set comes with a wooden cutlery case — and it’s not only beautiful but also functional. The case protects the cutlery from scratches and keeps each piece in its place. That way the set stays in top condition and also makes a tasteful gift package. Preferably store the case in a dry place, away from direct heat or damp environments so the wood remains in good condition.

How do I care for the wooden cutlery case?

You can occasionally treat the wood with a neutral wood maintenance oil to keep it supple and well maintained. Store the case in a dry, well-ventilated place.

De messen zijn erg goed! Ze liggen lekker in de hand en snijden groenten en fruit gemakkelijk! Helaas staat er in de bijsluiter dat ze in de vaatwasser kunnen. NIET DOEN! Want hierdoor is bij mij (helaas) het handvat erg dof geworden…. Jammer dat het wel in de bijsluiter staat maar het dus eigenlijk niet kan…
