FAQ

Can I just put this cutlery in the dishwasher?
Technically the cutlery is dishwasher-safe, but there is an important caveat: the maximum temperature is 55 degrees. Most dishwashers run at higher temperatures, which can eventually damage the black coating. Cookinglife therefore recommends handwashing. That may sound like a hassle, but it’s the smartest way to keep your cutlery looking sharp and stylish for years.
For how many people and which pieces are included in the set?
The set is complete for 6 people and consists of 24 pieces: • 6 dinner knives • 6 dinner forks • 6 dinner spoons • 6 teaspoons Dessert forks or knives are not included in this set.
What material is this cutlery made of and how do I care for it?
The cutlery is made of stainless steel with a black finish — a combination that is strong and durable. For the best care: • Preferably wash the cutlery by hand with warm water and a mild dish soap. • Dry it immediately after washing to prevent water spots. • If you do use the dishwasher, choose a program of no more than 55 degrees. Stainless steel is naturally corrosion-resistant, but the black coating does require a bit of extra care when cleaning.
Does the cutlery come with a storage option?
Yes, the set is delivered including a wooden cutlery tray. It’s a handy way to keep your cutlery neatly stored — in a kitchen cabinet, on the counter, or right on the table if you want to present with style.
Is this cutlery suitable for daily use, or is it more for special occasions?
This cutlery is made of stainless steel and is sturdy enough for daily use. The black Premium Line finish gives it a luxurious look, but that doesn’t mean you should reserve it for special occasions. Keep in mind the care: for the best long-term results, handwashing — rather than the dishwasher — is the best choice for daily use.
