FAQ

Yes, the Sola Bestekset Bali is made of 18/10 stainless steel — a high-quality stainless steel. This material resists moisture and detergents, so the set cleans well in the dishwasher. Multiple users confirm the cutlery keeps its attractive appearance after repeated washes. The 18/10 designation refers to the proportion of chromium and nickel in the steel: this provides extra corrosion resistance and a long-lasting shine.

Voor hoeveel personen is deze bestekset geschikt?

The Sola Bestekset Bali is suitable for 6 people. The set consists of 24 pieces, divided as follows: • 6 dinner knives • 6 dinner forks • 6 dinner spoons • 6 coffee spoons This gives each person a complete place setting for the main course plus a coffee spoon.

Thanks to the 18/10 stainless steel, maintenance is simple. A few practical tips: • Rinse the cutlery briefly after use if you won’t put it in the dishwasher immediately — this prevents baked-on residue from acidic foods like citrus or vinegar. • Remove the cutlery from the dishwasher promptly and dry it if you want to avoid spotting. • Do not use scouring pads or abrasive cleaners; they can damage the finish. 18/10 stainless steel is naturally corrosion-resistant and retains its shine with normal use and proper cleaning.

The Sola Bestekset Bali has a firm, substantial weight. Buyers describe the cutlery as pleasantly heavy — this gives a premium feel during use. This is a deliberate choice by Sola: good cutlery should feel confident in the hand and be comfortable to use at the table. The weight is the result of the solid 18/10 stainless steel used throughout the set.

The Sola Bestekset Bali stands out because of the bamboo look in the handle: subtle ridges give the grip an organic, handcrafted appearance inspired by the rice terraces and artistic forms of Bali. This is not a sticker print or coating, but a texture worked into the stainless steel itself. The result is cutlery that is both stylish and no-nonsense — eye-catching at the table but not over the top.

Sola Bestekset Bali - 18/10 RVS - 90 delig / 9 personen

I noticed Sola when dining at a restaurant and researched further to find something similar. Bali is a great cutlery set. It feels nice and rather heavy, cleans well in a dishwasher. The knives cut well. The only disappointment is one knife with a tiny chip on the handle.

Erg mooi bestek

Tineke V. 5/5 Verified March 16, 2025
