Can I put these steak knives in the dishwasher?

No — the dishwasher is not suitable for these knives. The black ebony handles are not suited to the heat and aggressive detergents of a dishwasher — this damages the wood and shortens its lifespan. Simply wash the knives by hand with warm water and a mild dish soap. Dry them thoroughly immediately afterward.

Ebony is a durable material, but it does require some attention. Oil the wooden handles regularly to keep the wood supple and looking good. De messen zijn erg goed! Ze liggen lekker in de hand en snijden groenten en fruit gemakkelijk! Helaas staat er in de bijsluiter dat ze in de vaatwasser kunnen. NIET DOEN!
