These Hendi vacumeerzakken are specifically suitable for use with vacuum chamber packaging machines. If you have a regular household vacuum sealer (without a chamber), these bags are not intended for that — the two-layer construction and the dimensions are tailored to professional chamber models. So please check whether your machine is a vacuum chamber machine before ordering.

Up to what temperature can these vacuum bags withstand?

These bags perform reliably in a temperature range of -20 °C to 110 °C. That makes them suitable for: • Freezing and storage in the freezer (down to -20 °C) • Sous-vide cooking in a warm water bath (up to 110 °C) The heat-resistant material — polyethylene on the inside, polyamide (nylon) on the outside — ensures the bag retains its shape and seal during cooking.

Are these bags safe for food contact?

Yes, absolutely. The inner layer of polyethylene (60 µm) is specifically approved for direct contact with food. In addition, the bags contain UV-filtering materials, which help to further protect the quality of the contents during storage. The outer layer of polyamide (nylon, 15 µm) gives the bag its strength and ensures a reliable seal.

What sizes of dishes or ingredients are these bags suitable for?
