What is a vacuum packaging machine?

A vacumizing machine is a kitchen appliance used to keep food fresh longer and prevent food waste. The device works by removing air from the package, slowing the growth of bacteria and mold. As a result, food keeps longer and retains its flavor and nutrients. Vacuum sealers are often used in the hospitality industry, butcher shops, fish stores and supermarkets to keep food fresh for longer. Home consumers are also increasingly using vacumizers to preserve and marinate food and prepare meals.

How does a vacuum packaging machine work?

A vacuum machine works by removing the air from the food packaging, so that it keeps it longer. The device usually consists of a vacuum chamber and a sealer. However, the exact shelf life depends on various factors, such as the type of food, the temperature and the circumstances in which it is stored. For example, it is advisable to keep meat under 4 degrees Celsius to prevent the growth of bacteria. It must also be stored in a dry place and the package must be protected against light and air.
