Yes, absolutely. The Open Up glasses were designed with young white wines in mind, but thanks to their universal shape and 370 ml capacity they are also excellent for rosé and aperitifs. The Krysta crystal glass shows every colour crystal-clear, from pale yellow to soft pink.

How do I take good care of these glasses after washing?

After washing — whether in the dishwasher or by hand — it’s best to dry the glasses immediately with a soft, lint-free cloth. This prevents watermarks and preserves the shine of the Krysta crystal glass. Give the glasses enough space in the dishwasher to avoid damage. • Use a soft cloth, not abrasives • Leave space between the glasses in the dishwasher • Clean the glasses before first use with warm water and a mild dish soap

What is the difference between Krysta crystal glass and regular glass?

Krysta is an innovative type of crystal glass from Chef & Sommelier that combines two properties that are usually hard to achieve together: exceptional clarity and extra strength. Regular glass is less transparent and more prone to small chips. Krysta glasses are also dishwasher-safe, whereas traditional crystal often is not.

Sheer Rim is a production technique from Chef & Sommelier where the rim of the glass is finished extra thin and precise — without compromising strength.
