Absolutely. The Chef & Sommelier Open Up-glazen are specially designed for whiskey and other distillates — think bourbon, cognac or rum. The distinctive kink in the glass promotes the development of aromas, which benefits any spirit. You can therefore use them widely at the table.
How do I best clean these glasses?
Clean the glasses before first use with warm water and a mild dish soap. After that you can safely put them in the dishwasher — they are dishwasher-safe. Please note: • Place the glasses with enough space between them in the dishwasher to prevent damage. • After washing, use a soft cloth to wipe them dry; this keeps the clear shine of the Krysta-kristalglas at its best.
What makes Krysta-kristalglas different from regular glass?
Krysta is an innovative type of crystal glass that cleverly combines two properties: exceptional clarity and extra strength. That means you see the colour and texture of your whiskey sharply, while the glass is much more robust in practice than traditional crystal. Krysta contains no lead, which also makes it more sustainable. Each glass weighs 155 grams and has a diameter of 9.3 cm with a height of 9.4 cm.

Die Lieferung hat tadellos funktioniert. War schon gespannt, wieviel Gläser kaputt sind. Und siehe da: sie waren perfekt verpackt kein einziges hatte einen Makel. Getestet haben wir sie natürlich auch schon und von den Gästen großes Lob erhalten. Rum aus so einem Glas zu genießen ist wirklich ein Genuss.
