For me Tritan-kristalglas is one of the smartest choices in wine glasses, because it combines the clarity of crystal with real resistance to breakage and scratches. The roomy 505 ml bowl gives a red wine exactly the space it needs to open up, and if you give it a little swirl you immediately notice how the bouquet unfolds. I like to use this product myself with a Cabernet or Syrah, because the wide diameter nicely brings forward the fruity and spicy notes. After dozens of dishwasher cycles the glass stays clear without a yellow haze, which really makes a difference for everyday use.

Are these wine glasses dishwasher-safe?
Yes, the Schott Zwiesel Fortissimo wine glasses are fully dishwasher-safe. Thanks to the Tritan crystal glass they remain clear and scratch-free, even after frequent washing. A few practical tips for the best results: • Place the glasses upright in the dishwasher. • Use a gentle wash program. • Rinse shortly after heavy use to prevent colored residues. • Dry them afterwards with a soft microfiber cloth and hold the glass by the stem when polishing. This way you keep that sparkling finish every time.
How many glasses are in the set and what is the capacity per glass?
The set consists of 4 red wine glasses. Each glass has a capacity of 505 ml and a bowl diameter of 88 mm with a height of 258 mm. The generous bowl provides enough space for the wine to breathe and to be swirled — fill the glass to about one third for an ideal swirl space.
Are these glasses also suitable for white wine?
The Fortissimo glasses are designed as red wine glasses, with a generous bowl that brings out the aromas of full-bodied wines like Cabernet, Merlot or Syrah. However, because of their size and timeless design they are also perfectly suitable for white wine. The shape and volume support aroma and flavor development for both types of wine. What warranty do I get on these wine glasses?
The Schott Zwiesel Fortissimo wine glasses come with a 2-year warranty. The glasses are made from patented Tritan crystal glass, a material specially developed for long-lasting clarity, break resistance and scratch resistance. They are machine-made in Germany, which ensures consistent quality per set.
How should I store these wine glasses?
Store the Fortissimo wine glasses preferably upright, not upside down, to protect the rim. The sturdy foot and well-balanced stem make the glasses stable in the cupboard. Because Tritan crystal glass is scratch-resistant, you don’t need special storage sleeves. Still, it’s wise not to place the glasses too close together so they don’t knock against each other when being taken out.
