FAQ
Is this potato masher suitable for use in a hot pan or directly over a flame?
The OXO Good Grips aardappelstamper is designed for use in the pan — you mash the cooked potatoes or vegetables directly in the pot after draining. The masher itself is not intended to be placed on the stove or heat source. The stainless-steel mashing section can withstand the heat of just-cooked food, but the soft grip is not meant for direct contact with flames or heat sources.
Can I use this masher for vegetables other than potatoes?
Yes, absolutely. The OXO Good Grips aardappelstamper is suitable for mashing a variety of cooked vegetables, such as: • Potatoes • Carrots • Other soft, cooked vegetables The oval shape also helps you work along the edges of the pan, so you achieve an even result.
How should I store this potato masher?
Handy: the OXO Good Grips aardappelstamper has a hanging loop at the end of the handle. This lets you easily hang it on a kitchen rack or hook, so it's always within reach and you don’t waste valuable drawer space.
How do I clean the potato masher?
Cleaning is no hassle: the OXO Good Grips aardappelstamper is fully dishwasher-safe. After use you can simply put it in the dishwasher. The stainless steel and the non-slip grip withstand dishwasher conditions.

Included in the package: • 1x OXO Good Grips aardappelstamper RVS — 26 cm No additional accessories or parts are included.
It has been a very usefull device in the kitchen. I have got two of them: for myself and for my relative. If you need to shred cabbage fast, there is nothing better than this thing.
Gelukkig wonen we in zelfde straat! Nu wordt déze zijn verjaardag cadeau binnenkort! 🤭
The OXO Good Grips Peeler is by far the best peeler I’ve ever used! It’s comfortable, sharp, easy to handle, and makes peeling effortless.
I also bought it from Cookinglife, which had the best price I could find. Delivery was quick, and everything went smoothly and perfectly from start to finish.
I’m very pleased with both the product and the service and would definitely recommend the OXO peeler and Cookinglife. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
