FAQ
How many egg poachers are included in the package?
You get 2 egg poachers from OXO Good Grips in the package. That way you can poach two eggs at once — handy when you’re cooking for yourself and someone else.
Is the egg poacher dishwasher safe?
Yes, the OXO Good Grips egg poacher is completely dishwasher safe. After use, you can simply put it in the dishwasher — no hassle with hand scrubbing.
What material is the egg poacher made of, and is it safe at high temperatures?
The poacher is made of heat-resistant silicone. This material is specially suited for use in boiling water and does not deform at high temperatures. The handy tab also lets you lift the poacher safely out of the hot water without burning your fingers.
How does the egg poacher work exactly — do I need to do anything special?
No, the poacher is deliberately designed so that even beginners get great results right away. Here's how it works: • Bring water to a boil in a pan. • Place the funnel-shaped poacher in the water. • Break the egg directly into the poacher — the funnel shape keeps the egg together and prevents it from running out. • The perforated bottom allows water to circulate well around the egg for even cooking. • Use the tab to lift the poacher safely out of the hot water once the egg is done. The poacher is made of heat-resistant silicone and fits in a regular saucepan.
Can I use the egg poacher on an induction stove?
The OXO Good Grips egg poacher works with a regular saucepan — the stove doesn't matter. Whether you cook on gas, electric, or induction: as long as you can boil water in a pan, the poacher will work. The poacher itself does not come into direct contact with the heat source.
It has been a very usefull device in the kitchen. I have got two of them: for myself and for my relative. If you need to shred cabbage fast, there is nothing better than this thing.
Gelukkig wonen we in zelfde straat! Nu wordt déze zijn verjaardag cadeau binnenkort! 🤭
The OXO Good Grips Peeler is by far the best peeler I’ve ever used! It’s comfortable, sharp, easy to handle, and makes peeling effortless.
I also bought it from Cookinglife, which had the best price I could find. Delivery was quick, and everything went smoothly and perfectly from start to finish.
I’m very pleased with both the product and the service and would definitely recommend the OXO peeler and Cookinglife. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
