FAQ
Are the measuring cups also suitable for dry ingredients like flour or sugar?
Yes, absolutely. The OXO Good Grips measuring cups are designed for both dry and liquid ingredients. Think flour, sugar, oats or baking powder — but also milk, oil or broth. The handy part of this set is the included scraper: you can level off dry ingredients along the rim of the cup with it, so you always have an accurate, leveled amount. That makes a difference in recipes where precision matters, such as baking.
How can I store the measuring cups neatly so they don't get misplaced quickly?
The five measuring cups snap together easily, so you can store them as one compact unit. That saves space in your kitchen drawer or cabinet and ensures you always have the right size at hand. Thanks to the color coding on each cup, you can also see at a glance which size you're picking without having to read the markings.
Can I wash the measuring cups in the dishwasher?
Yes, the measuring cups are dishwasher-safe. After use, simply place them in the dishwasher — including the included scraper. The measuring cups are made of durable plastic, which makes them lightweight and resistant to frequent washing.
Which sizes are included in the set?
The set consists of five measuring cups in the following sizes: • ¼ cup – 60 ml • ⅓ cup – 80 ml • ½ cup – 120 ml • ⅔ cup – 160 ml • 1 cup – 240 ml In addition to the five cups, a scraper is also included in the packaging.
Are the markings on the measuring cups wear-resistant, or will they come off after a while?
The volume markings on the OXO Good Grips measuring cups are permanently applied — they are integrated into the material, not printed on top. They therefore won't fade after repeated washing. In addition, the markings are color-coded by size, which makes them extra easy to read while cooking and baking.
It has been a very usefull device in the kitchen. I have got two of them: for myself and for my relative. If you need to shred cabbage fast, there is nothing better than this thing.
Gelukkig wonen we in zelfde straat! Nu wordt déze zijn verjaardag cadeau binnenkort! 🤭
The OXO Good Grips Peeler is by far the best peeler I’ve ever used! It’s comfortable, sharp, easy to handle, and makes peeling effortless.
I also bought it from Cookinglife, which had the best price I could find. Delivery was quick, and everything went smoothly and perfectly from start to finish.
I’m very pleased with both the product and the service and would definitely recommend the OXO peeler and Cookinglife. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
