Is this omelet spatula suitable for use on induction and other heat sources?
The OXO omeletspatel is used purely as a flipping and serving tool — it is not meant to go into the pan or the oven. What is important: the silicone outer layer is heat-resistant up to 300 °C, so brief contact with a hot pan or rim is not a problem. The spatula works fine next to all types of cooktops because you simply lay it beside the heat source when you are not using it.
Is the spatula safe for pans with a non-stick coating?
Yes, absolutely. The outer layer of the OXO omeletspatel is made of flexible silicone, which is softer than the surface of non-stick pans. So you won't scratch anything. How should I wash the OXO omeletspatel?
Cleaning is simple: the OXO omeletspatel is dishwasher-safe, so just place it in the dishwasher after use. Ik heb deze al in 250ml en vind 'm zo handig dat ik 'm groter wilde. Lang hoefde ik dus niet na te denken toen ik 'm zag! Je kunt rechtop blijven staan en ziet dan duidelijk tothoeveel ml je de maatbeker hebt gevuld. Echt héél handig. En de kwaliteit is ook super. Geen glas, maar heel stevig kunststof dat ook heel goed schoon te krijgen is. Echt toppers zijn deze maatbeker!!!

On s’en sert pour prendre le thé dans la boîte, puis après usage rien de plus simple pour la vider, il suffit de faire pivoter ! Un petit passage sous l’eau et elle est propre.
