FAQ
Is the OXO Good Grips Garde Smal ook geschikt voor gebruik in hete pannen op het vuur?
The OXO garde smal is designed for everyday whisking and mixing — think whipped cream, scrambled eggs and sauces. The wires are made of polished stainless steel, which is sturdy and durable, but the non-slip handle is made of santoprene, a soft rubber material. Therefore do not use the whisk directly over an open flame or in boiling-hot pans on the stove; that is not the intended use for this model. The whisk is ideal for beating and mixing in bowls, dishes and deep pans without a direct heat source.
Yes, the OXO garde smal is dishwasher-safe. After use just put it in the dishwasher — no fuss with handwashing. Both the stainless steel wires and the santoprene handle withstand a regular dishwasher cycle.
A narrow whisk has wires that sit closer together and a slimmer profile than a standard balloon whisk. That makes it especially suitable for: • Small bowls and tall, narrow containers — you can reach the bottom more easily. • Deep pans — the narrow shape fits smoothly in without splashing. • Precise work such as smoothing sauces or mixing dressings in a measuring jug. A standard whisk is handier for large volumes in wide, shallow bowls. The narrow whisk is the right choice if you regularly work with small quantities or narrower bowl work.
The package contains 1 OXO garde smal. No additional accessories or storage materials are included.
Yes, that has been deliberately considered. The handle is made of soft santoprene, a non-slip material that keeps the whisk secure in your hand — even if your hands are wet. The soft material reduces pressure on your palm during prolonged whisking, which is useful if you, for example, whip cream by hand. The combination of the non-slip surface and the soft material provides a stable and comfortable grip during use.
It has been a very usefull device in the kitchen. I have got two of them: for myself and for my relative. If you need to shred cabbage fast, there is nothing better than this thing.
Gelukkig wonen we in zelfde straat! Nu wordt déze zijn verjaardag cadeau binnenkort! 🤭
The OXO Good Grips Peeler is by far the best peeler I’ve ever used! It’s comfortable, sharp, easy to handle, and makes peeling effortless.
I also bought it from Cookinglife, which had the best price I could find. Delivery was quick, and everything went smoothly and perfectly from start to finish.
I’m very pleased with both the product and the service and would definitely recommend the OXO peeler and Cookinglife. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
