Mepal Yoghurt Cup / Lunch Pot Ellipse Nordic Sage - 500 ml + 200 ml

Imagine this: you're hastily putting together your lunch in the morning and already facing a bowl of muesli that gets soggy from the yogurt before you've even taken a bite. Sounds familiar? The Mepal Lunch Pot Ellipse in Nordic Sage puts an end to that soggy muesli misery - once and for all. With two completely separate compartments, you always eat what you want to eat: crunchy stays crunchy, creamy stays creamy, and you enjoy.

Two Compartments, Endless Possibilities

The Ellipse lunch pot is not just an ordinary lunch box. It is a smart system that keeps yogurt and muesli, soup and croutons, or oatmeal and nuts tightly separated - until you are ready to enjoy. With a simple twist, you detach the two containers, mix what you want to mix, and eat at the perfect moment. That's lunch packing at its best.

• Crunchy stays crunchy - Muesli, granola, nuts, or seeds retain their texture until the last bite, as they only touch the yogurt when you want them to.
• 100% leak-proof design - Feel free to toss it in the bottom of your bag or backpack. The lunch pot does not leak, spill, or surprise you with a yogurt bath for your belongings.
• Two containers, two lids - Both compartments have their own lid that is also interchangeable. No more puzzling over the right lid for the right container.
• Microwave ready - The bottom container (500 ml) is microwave safe up to 700 Watts. Heating soup at the office? No problem.
• Made in the Netherlands - Mepal produces in its own country, with an eye for quality and sustainability. This is a pot that lasts for years.
• 100% BPA-free - Safe for you, for the kids, for everyone who eats from this pot.

Smart Design That Really Works

It sounds simple, and that's exactly the point. The Mepal Ellipse lunch pot is designed so that you don't have to think about it for a second during the morning rush. Fill the bottom container (500 ml) with yogurt, quark, soup, or a cold noodle salad. Toss everything you want to keep crunchy into the top transparent container (200 ml - good for about 75 grams of muesli or fruit). Twist the two parts together, close the lids, and you're done.

The clever part is in the combination lid: the lid of the yogurt cup is not the bottom of the muesli container. This means that both compartments are truly separate, each with its own seal. So you don't have to worry about leaks when you tilt the pot or stuff it upside down in your bag. That freedom is nice.

And that color - Nordic Sage - is no coincidence. The muted green shade fits a life that is a bit more conscious. Stylish and no-nonsense at the same time, just like a good lunch.

More Versatile Than You Think

Yogurt with muesli is the classic combination, but the Ellipse lunch pot goes much further than that. Think of:

• Soup with croutons - Heat the soup in the bottom container, keep the croutons crunchy in the top. Perfect timing, perfect bite.
• Oatmeal with fresh fruit - Prepare your overnight oats in the large cup and keep your blueberries or banana slices separate for that fresh bite.
• Quark with granola and honey - A breakfast that feels like a moment of enjoyment, even at the office.
• Salad with dressing - Keep your lettuce fresh and dry in the large container and store the dressing separately so everything comes together at the right moment.
• Noodles with toppings - Cold or warm, the combination possibilities are endless.

Moreover, the lids of the Ellipse lunch pot are interchangeable with other lunch and snack pots from the Mepal Ellipse collection. Handy if you want to expand your lunch system without having to buy extra lids.

And don't forget: a matching folding spoon from Mepal (the Ellipse Folding Spoon) is sold separately. Ideal if you also don't want to forget your cutlery.

Easy to Clean, Always Ready

After a good lunch, you don't want to end up with a complicated cleaning job. The Ellipse lunch pot is fully dishwasher safe (up to 65°C), so just pop it in the dishwasher and you're done. Both containers and lids fit in without any issues. The lunch pot is also suitable for the freezer - handy if you're prepping meals and want to freeze your lunch for the week ahead.

Note: the top transparent container is not suitable for the microwave. Use only the bottom container of 500 ml for heating, without a lid, up to a maximum of 700 Watts. Stir every 2 minutes for even results.

Made from PP, PCTG, and silicone - materials chosen for their strength, lightness, and safety. The entire lunch pot weighs only 300 grams, so you hardly notice it in your bag.

💡 Cookinglife Tip: Prepare your breakfast or lunch the night before and store the filled lunch pot in the fridge or freezer. This way, you grab a nutritious meal in two seconds in the morning without compromising on quality or texture. Overnight oats really benefit from it.
