360° drinking rim – drink comfortably around the entire rim
100% leak-proof – carry it worry-free in your bag or car cup holder
Your morning starts well - coffee in hand, out the door, facing the day. But halfway through your commute, your mug is empty and that coffee is long cold. Or worse: there's a stain on your jacket from that one bump in the road. Sound familiar? The Mepal Thermos Mug Ellipse Nordic Sage makes this a thing of the past. Hot stays hot, cold stays cold, and spilling? That's simply not an option anymore.
Your day, your pace - always the perfect temperature
The Mepal Ellipse is not just an ordinary thermos mug. This is your daily travel companion that thinks ahead. With double-walled vacuum insulation, this mug keeps your coffee, tea, or hot chocolate warm for up to 4 hours - and your cold drinks even cold for up to 12 hours. From the first sip of morning coffee to the last drop of iced tea at the end of the afternoon: the Ellipse keeps everything at the temperature you want.
And enjoying a drink on the go? It doesn't have to be complicated. The 360-degree drinking rim lets you drink from all sides, just like you would with a regular mug. No searching for "the right side" - just pick it up and enjoy.

Made to go - literally
The Mepal Ellipse is designed for real life. Not for that one time a year you go camping, but for every weekday morning, every lunch break in the park, every sports practice, and every overtime at the office. The size of 350 ml is intentionally chosen: big enough for a full serving, compact enough to take anywhere without hassle.
The color Nordic Sage - a warm, muted green tone with a Scandinavian feel - makes this thermos mug a stylish accessory as well. Not flashy, not boring. Just nice on the desk, in the car, or on the table during a picnic. The sleek oval shape (Ellipse is not for nothing the name) fits comfortably in your hand and feels solid - because it is.
Weighing only 300 grams and standing 178 mm tall, the mug is light enough to take daily, sturdy enough to last for years. Stainless steel that consists of 90% recycled materials? That's not just a nod to sustainability - it's a conscious choice that you notice in how the mug feels and lasts over time.
Cleaning made easy
A thermos mug that is difficult to clean, you eventually stop using. Mepal knows this too. That's why the Ellipse has a wide opening that you can easily reach with a sponge or brush. Prefer quick and carefree? The mug is dishwasher safe - just put it in the rack and let the machine do the work. The parts are easy to take apart, so you can be sure everything gets really clean. No smell, no taste residue - every day a fresh start.
Note: the Ellipse is not suitable for the microwave, oven, or freezer. It is made for what it does, and it does it excellently.
💡 Cookinglife Tip: Rinse the mug before use with hot water (for hot drinks) or cold water (for cold drinks). This way, you get the most out of the insulating effect and enjoy the perfect temperature even longer.
