Your morning routine deserves better than a mug that leaks, cools down too quickly, or that you have to hold with two hands while searching for your keys with the other. The Mepal Thermos Mug Ellipse in Vivid Mauve is the travel companion that simply does what it needs to do - hassle-free, spill-free, without compromises. Hot coffee stays hot. Ice-cold lemonade stays cold. And you continue to enjoy exactly what you want to drink on the go.

Vacuum Insulation That Really Makes a Difference
Imagine: you pour a strong coffee early in the morning, drive to work, park, walk inside, and only take your first sip an hour and a half later. With the Mepal Ellipse, that coffee is still hot. Not lukewarm, not cold - hot. That's the power of double-walled vacuum insulation. The inner wall and outer wall are separated by a vacuum space, preventing heat or cold from escaping.
And in the summer? Fill the Ellipse with ice water or fresh lemonade and enjoy a refreshing sip for up to 12 hours. Picnic, walk, festival, long workday - it doesn't matter. Your drink maintains its temperature, period.
Hot drinks stay hot for up to 4 hours, chilled drinks for up to 6 hours, and cold drinks even for up to 12 hours. That's not marketing talk, that's just good engineering.
Smart Design for a Busy Life
The Mepal Ellipse is not just any thermos mug - it is thoughtfully designed for the way you experience your day. The lid opens with a simple press of a button and closes automatically. One hand is enough, even when you're driving, walking, or holding your child.
The 360-degree drinking edge is one of those details you only truly appreciate once you've used it. You pick up the mug, drink, set it down. No fuss with orientation, no special drinking position. Just drink, as it should be.
The wide opening also makes cleaning a breeze. Your hand fits inside for a good wipe with a cloth, or you can simply put it in the dishwasher. The lid is easy to disassemble so even the smallest corners get clean. Because a clean mug just tastes better - every coffee lover knows that.
And then there's that color: Vivid Mauve. Not just any rosy tint, but a warm, bold mauve that stands out without shouting. Stylish with your morning robe, chic next to your laptop, and just very fun in that cup holder on the go. Mepal combines function with taste - literally and figuratively.
Consciously Chosen Materials
The Mepal Ellipse is made from 90% recycled stainless steel. That may sound like a minor detail, but it's a choice that counts. Stainless steel is already one of the most durable materials for drinkware - it lasts for years, doesn't rust, and doesn't affect the taste of your drink. By using recycled steel, Mepal takes it a step further. Sturdy enough for daily use, conscious enough to feel good about.
All materials are BPA-free. That means: only your drink, and nothing else. No worries, just enjoyment.
💡 Cookinglife Tip: Rinse the Ellipse with hot water before use if you're going to put coffee or tea in it, or with cold water if you're going to put a cold drink in it. This way, you get the most out of the insulation and enjoy the perfect temperature even longer.
