FAQ

What is the best way to clean the thermal carafe?
Hand washing is the recommended method to keep this thermal carafe clean. Use warm water with a mild dish soap and a soft sponge or brush. This protects the insulating performance and keeps the stainless steel in good condition. The thermal carafe is not suitable for the dishwasher.
Is this thermal carafe also suitable for cold beverages?
Yes — this thermal carafe works both ways. Thanks to the double-walled stainless steel construction, it keeps both hot and cold beverages at temperature for longer. Think of: • Coffee and tea (hot) • Iced water or cold lemonade • Other cold drinks for buffets or events The insulating effect therefore applies to both use situations.
How many cups of coffee will I get from this thermal carafe?
The thermal carafe has a capacity of 2 liters. If you count with a standard coffee cup of about 150 ml, you can pour roughly 13 cups from it. With larger mugs of 200 ml you get about 10 servings. That makes this carafe ideal for groups at meetings or buffets.
Does the thermal carafe fit under a standard coffee machine or a hotel carafe warming plate?
This thermal carafe is not intended to be placed directly on a warming plate or heating element. You fill it with already-prepared, hot beverage — the double-walled insulation then keeps that temperature. It is therefore not suitable as a direct replacement for a glass carafe on a coffee maker with a warming plate.
What exactly is included in the package?
Included in the package: • 1x Hendi thermoskan RVS 2 liter — complete with pour spout and handle No extra accessories such as spare lids or cleaning supplies are included.
