BK Pot Holder / Pouring Aid Mr. Gripper Red Check - 48 x 11 cm
Pouring without hot fingers: the lid just stays in place
With the anti-slip underside, your pan sits firmly on the table
Dirty? Just put it in the washing machine at 30°C
You know the moment: the pasta is perfectly cooked, the water is boiling over, and you’re left holding a steaming pan, wondering how to hold the lid while draining without burning your fingers. Sound familiar? With the BK Pot Holder / Pouring Aid Mr. Gripper Red Check, that’s a thing of the past. This clever piece of kitchenware solves a common problem with such a simple solution that you’ll wonder why you didn’t think of it sooner.
Mr. Gripper: the boss in your kitchen
Mr. Gripper is no ordinary pot holder. It’s designed with one goal: to let you drain safely and effortlessly, without the lid slipping off the pan and without hot steam blowing over your hands. Place it over the lid, slide the slot over the lid knob, hold the ends by the handles - and pour. It’s that simple. The lid stays exactly where it should, you maintain control, and your potatoes or spaghetti won’t disappear down the drain with the cooking water.
And that’s not all. Mr. Gripper is a true multitasker in the kitchen - after draining, you simply set it down as a pot stand. The Non-Slip rubber base ensures your pan is stable and secure on the table or worktop. No scratches, no sliding, no panic.
Three functions, one clever helper
- Drain without hot fingers - The slot fits seamlessly over the lid knob, keeping the lid in place while steam escapes safely. You literally hold the reins - or rather: the handles - in your hands.
- Move hot pans - No more searching for pot holders that you can’t find? Mr. Gripper is always at hand. The heat-resistant neoprene protects your hands even when moving a hot pan or lid.
- Pot stand - After draining, lay it flat on the table. The Non-Slip black rubber base keeps your pan or dish stable, without damaging your worktop or table surface.
Made to work - and last
BK has been known for decades for kitchenware that proves its worth in practice. Mr. Gripper is no exception. The material is heat-resistant neoprene - the same material used in wetsuits and protective clothing, so it can handle some serious heat. The rubber Non-Slip base is sturdy and durable, providing grip on both worktop and table.
Got dirty after a splattering pot of tomato sauce? No problem. Mr. Gripper goes straight into the washing machine at 30 degrees Celsius and comes out as good as new. It doesn’t get easier than that. And should anything go wrong: BK offers a 3-year guarantee on Mr. Gripper. That’s not just marketing talk, that’s confidence in their product.
With dimensions of 48 x 11 cm, it fits over almost all standard pan sizes - from small saucepans to large pasta or soup pots. Red chequered and easily recognisable in your kitchen drawer or hanging by the stove.
Made in the Netherlands - with a wink
Mr. Gripper comes straight from the Netherlands. Not just in design and concept, but also in production. This fits perfectly with the no-nonsense character of this helper: no unnecessary frills, no exaggerated claims - just a clever, well-thought-out product that does what it promises. And it comes dressed in a cheerful red chequered outfit, because why shouldn’t kitchenware have a bit of character?
💡 Cookinglife Tip: Hang Mr. Gripper on a hook next to your stove, so it’s always within reach when it really counts. Combine it with a good BK pan for a complete cooking experience - from preparation to serving - where everything runs smoothly and you can enjoy what’s on the table.
