BK Casserole Bourgogne Chili Red Ø 28 cm / 6.7 liter - Enamelled Non-Stick Coating

Casseroles that almost cook themselves, dishes that land on the table bursting with flavor, and a pot that looks fantastic - the BK Casserole Bourgogne Chili Red Ø 28 cm is just that. This is no ordinary casserole. This is cast iron at its best: heavy, honest, thoughtful, and made to last for generations.

Why cast iron? Simple: because it just works

Cast iron has a reason to be a favorite in the kitchen for centuries. The material absorbs heat slowly but then distributes that heat evenly and consistently - exactly what you need for dishes that deserve time and attention. Think of a slowly braised beef bourguignon, a fragrant tagine, or a hearty hutspot that fills the whole kitchen with aroma. With the BK Bourgogne casserole, you achieve those deep, rounded flavors that you only get when heat works evenly and patiently.

And then there's that color. Chili Red - intense, confident, and with a real nod to French cooking traditions. You can simply place this pot in the middle of the table and let your guests talk.

What makes this BK casserole so special?

• Optimal and even heat distribution - Cast iron distributes heat without hotspots, ensuring that every corner of your dish cooks evenly
• Enamelled non-stick coating - The inner layer protects your dish and your pot, easy to clean and ready for the next meal

From searing to serving - in the same pot

The beauty of this casserole is its versatility. You sear your meat over high heat, creating that beautiful brown crust that adds flavor to your entire dish. Then you lower the heat, put the lid on, and let the pot do its work. Or you slide it into the oven for slow cooking at 180 degrees - the pot is ready for up to 230 degrees.

And when the food is ready? Just place the pot on the table. No transferring to serving dishes, no extra dishes. The Chili Red color of the Bourgogne collection ensures that your pot looks just as good in the middle of the table as it does on the stove. Stew of the week? It immediately becomes a moment to enjoy and share together.

Maintaining cast iron - easier than you think

Many people think that cast iron is difficult to maintain. Not with the BK Bourgogne. The enamelled finish - both inside and out - ensures that your pot is easy to clean. After use, you can simply put it in the dishwasher. No special treatment, no oiling, no hassle. Just enjoy the results and let the pot take care of the rest.

The enamel also protects the cast iron from rust and does not absorb odors or flavors from previous dishes. Every stew starts with a clean slate - literally and figuratively.

💡 Tip: Let the pot warm up slowly before you start frying or searing. Cast iron takes a bit longer to heat up, but once it’s warm, it retains that heat for a long time. Perfect for dishes that deserve subtlety and patience - and you get double the flavor in return.
