FAQ

Can I put the Sola Fleurie bestekset in the dishwasher?

Yes, all 24 pieces of the Sola Fleurie bestekset are fully dishwasher-safe. The 18/10 stainless steel resists rust and the heat of the dishwasher, so you don’t have to compromise on convenience. Just put it in the dishwasher — done.

What exactly is included in the set and how many people is it suitable for?

The Sola Fleurie bestekset is a 24-piece set and is suitable for 6 people. That means 4 pieces per person: typically a dinner knife, a dinner fork, a dessert spoon and a teaspoon — exactly what you need for a complete place setting.

What does '18/10 stainless steel' mean and why does it matter?

The designation 18/10 refers to the composition of the steel: 18% chromium and 10% nickel. That combination provides strong resistance to rust and discoloration, and gives the cutlery its shiny, smooth finish. The higher the nickel percentage, the more durable and robust the steel — 18/10 is therefore the highest quality standard in stainless steel cutlery.

Is the Sola Fleurie bestekset suitable for both everyday use and special occasions?

Absolutely. The set is designed with flowing lines and a subtle, elegant design that suits a weekday dinner as well as a festively set table. The 18/10 stainless steel is durable enough for daily use, while the stylish appearance — including the distinctive dewdrop at the end of the handle — also impresses on special occasions.

How should I store the Sola Fleurie bestekset?

The set comes in a sturdy, reusable box — ideal for keeping the cutlery neat and protected when you’re not using it. For everyday cutlery you use more often, a cutlery tray in a drawer works well. After washing, make sure the pieces are thoroughly dry before storing them so the steel keeps its shiny finish.
