The Sareva afkoelrooster measures 41 x 26 cm, so you can comfortably place a standard sheet cake, a springform cake up to about 26 cm in diameter, or several smaller cookies at once. Before baking, check that your cake pan fits within those dimensions.

Can I use this rack to apply glaze?

Yes — that's exactly what this rack is handy for. Place your cake on the rack and pour the glaze over it — the excess will simply drip through the wires, keeping the bottom of your cake dry and neat. Place a sheet of parchment paper or a baking tray under the rack to catch any mess.

What material is the rack made from?

The Sareva taartrooster has a lightweight construction, which is typical for stainless steel or chrome‑plated steel cooling racks in this category. This makes it light and easy to handle. Keep in mind that lighter racks need a bit more care to retain their shape.
