FAQ

Is this mussel pan suitable for all heat sources, including induction?
That's a smart question to ask beforehand. The Cosy & Trendy mussel pan is made of enameled steel. Enameled steel pans are generally suitable for gas, electric and ceramic cooktops. If you want to be sure the pan will work on your specific heat source, always check the bottom of the pan for the induction symbol or contact our customer service — they will help you quickly.
How should I best care for the enameled non-stick coating?
An enameled pan deserves a bit of care, but that pays off with years of enjoyment. Here's how to keep the coating in top condition: • Do not use metal utensils — choose wood, silicone or nylon to avoid scratches. • Let the pan cool down before submerging it in water; thermal shocks can damage the enamel. • Wash with a soft sponge and mild dish soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh scouring pads. • Are there burnt-on residues? Soak the pan briefly in warm water before cleaning it. With this care the non-stick coating will remain effective for a long time.
What is the capacity of this pan and how many people is it suitable for?
This mussel pan has a diameter of ø 12 cm and a capacity of 900 ml. That makes it ideal as an individual portion — perfect for serving per person at the table, straight from the pan. For larger groups you can use several pans side by side, which also creates a nice presentation moment. The pan has a capacity of 900 ml with a diameter of 12 cm.
Can I use this mussel pan in the oven?
Enameled steel pans are basically ovenproof, but that depends on the handle and the maximum temperature specified by the manufacturer. For the Cosy & Trendy mussel pan no specific oven temperature is listed in the product information. If you want to use the pan in the oven, please contact our customer service for the manufacturer's exact guidelines — that way you can be sure you use the pan safely and correctly.
Is this mussel pan dishwasher-safe?
As a general guideline for enameled pans: hand washing is always preferred. The aggressive detergents and high temperatures in a dishwasher can, over time, damage the enamel and cause the color to fade. If you wash the pan by hand in warm water with a soft sponge, you preserve the material best and keep the black finish looking good. Hand washing is the recommended method for enameled pans.
