No, these LIND DNA placemats are not suitable for the dishwasher. Leather needs specific care to stay in top condition. • Remove stains immediately with the LIND DNA dieptereinigende zeep for recycled leather. • For daily maintenance: spray the LIND DNA Clean & Care spray onto a soft cloth and gently wipe the placemats. • Then let them air dry and store them flat to prevent warping. Also avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or moisture.
Are these placemats heat-resistant?
These placemats protect your table from scratches, heat and spilled drinks — so they are suitable as a base for hot plates and dishes. They are made of 80% recycled leather and 20% natural rubber, which provides a sturdy, protective backing. For optimal longevity, it is wise not to place extremely hot pans straight from the stove directly on the placemat without a protective layer.
