FAQ
Can I use these placemats under hot pans or plates?
These placemats are made of high-quality faux leather and are intended as a stylish table protection against stains, scratches and rings. They are not designed as a trivet for hot pans — prolonged exposure to heat can damage the material. So use them as a placemat for your plate and cutlery, or as a decorative base for accessories such as candles or serving bowls.
Are these placemats dishwasher safe?
No, these vegan leather placemats and coasters are not suitable for the dishwasher. The faux leather is sensitive to water and does not benefit from prolonged exposure to moisture. Simply clean them after use with a lightly damp cloth — this removes stains quickly and effortlessly.
How should I store the placemats so they stay looking good for a long time?
A few simple habits will ensure you enjoy them for years: • Store the placemats and coasters flat, so the faux leather does not curl or develop creases. • Avoid sharp objects on the surface — they can leave scratches. • Keep them dry and avoid prolonged contact with moisture. • Wipe them with a lightly damp cloth before first use to remove any dust. This keeps the faux leather supple and the leather-look appearance well maintained.
What's included in the package and what are the dimensions?
The set consists of 12 pieces in total: • 6 rectangular placemats — 46 x 33 cm (black, vegan leather) • 6 square coasters — 10 x 10 cm (black, vegan leather) Both are reversible, which gives you variety and extends their lifespan.
Can I use the placemats on both sides?
Yes, absolutely. The placemats and the coasters have a double-sided finish, which means you can use both sides. That not only gives you more flexibility in how you style them, but also ensures a longer lifespan — wear is distributed across two sides instead of one.
