Can these placemats go in the dishwasher?
No, the LIND DNA Nupo placemats are not suitable for the dishwasher. Leather and dishwashers simply don’t go together — the water and heat will damage the material. Here’s the best way to keep them clean: • Wipe off stains immediately after use with the LIND DNA dieptereinigende zeep voor leer. • For daily care, spray the Clean & Care spray onto a soft cloth and gently wipe the placemat. • Then let them air dry and store them flat to prevent warping.
Are these placemats resistant to heat and spilled drinks?
Yes, the LIND DNA Nupo placemats protect your table well during normal daily use. They provide protection against: • Scratches from cutlery and plates • Heat from hot plates and dishes • Stains from spilled drinks and sauces Do note that you should avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or moisture — that will damage the leather over time.

Does the curved design fit all plate and table sizes?
The LIND DNA Nupo placemats measure 44 x 37 cm and are specially designed with a curved (rounded) shape. That shape wraps stylishly around standard dinner plates and bowls and prevents the placemat or the plate from shifting while eating. They work well with common plate sizes. For extra-large dinner plates or platters over 30 cm in diameter, it’s wise to compare the dimensions with your own dinnerware.
