About Cookinglife

FAQ

Does this fryer work on all heat sources, including induction?

Good question — and an honest answer: the product information does not list specific compatibility with induction. Enameled pans often work on gas and electric hobs, but whether this pan is suitable for induction is not confirmed in the available specifications. Not sure? Check the bottom of the pan after you receive it for the induction symbol.

How should I clean this enameled fryer?

The enamel layer makes cleaning much easier than with ordinary steel pans. Here's how to keep the pan in top condition: • Let the pan cool down first before you clean it — this prevents thermal shock to the enamel. • Warm water and dish soap are fine for daily use. • Do not use scouring pads or abrasive cleaners — those will damage the enamel surface. • Soak stubborn residues briefly in warm water before you remove them. The enameled non-stick layer is stain-resistant and makes thorough cleaning easy.

Is the frying basket also suitable for draining fried foods?

Yes, absolutely. The included basket is designed for two purposes: safe frying and easy draining. Simply let the basket hang over the pan after you lift out your fries, snacks or tempura — excess oil drips straight back into the pan. It's convenient, hygienic and saves you using an extra colander. The basket is included with the pan and has a diameter that fits the ø 24 cm pan.

For how many people is this pan suitable?

With a diameter of 24 cm and a capacity of 4 liters, this is a solid choice for household use. Practically speaking, it's suitable for: • 2 to 4 people — think of a family fries night or a drinks gathering with snacks. • Smaller portions of tempura or fried vegetables for a midweek dinner. For large groups or parties the pan is less suitable; you'll need to fry in multiple batches. The pan has a capacity of 4 liters.

Can I use this pan as a roasting pan, apart from frying?

Yes. The pan is offered in the range as both a fryer and a roasting pan, and that matches how it is built. Thanks to the enamel and the sturdy metal/steel construction, the pan is highly versatile: • Frying with the included frying basket • Roasting and braising meat or vegetables • Preparing soups or stews The enameled interior behaves like a non-stick surface, which makes it versatile in the kitchen. The pan falls within the enameled roasting pan subcategory.
