Is this mosselpan suitable for all heat sources, including induction?

The Cosy & Trendy mosselpan is made of enamel. Enamel pans are not suitable for induction, because enamel sits on an iron or steel core that is not always induction-compatible — unless explicitly stated, and that is not the case here. The pan does work excellently on: • Gas • Electric (ceramic or standard) Not sure about your hob? Always check whether the bottom of the pan is magnetic — that's the quickest way to test.

What is the lid of this mosselpan used for?

Smart design: the lid of this mosselpan doubles as a receptacle for the empty mussel shells. That way you don't need an extra bowl on the table and you keep your dining table tidy. You cook the mussels in the lower pan, and as you eat them you simply stack the empty shells in the inverted lid. Convenient, space-saving and ready straight for the table.

How many people does this mosselpan serve?

This pan has a capacity of 2.8 liters and a diameter of 18 cm, which corresponds to a portion of about 1 kilogram of mussels. As a rule of thumb: • As a main course: enough for 1 person • As a starter or snack: suitable to share between 2 people Want to cook for a larger group? Does the enameled layer need special care?

The enamel non-stick coating of this pan is practical and relatively easy to keep clean.
