Does this mussel pan work on all heat sources, including induction?

That’s a good question to check beforehand. The pan is made of enamel, a material that traditionally performs well on gas and electric cooktops. Always check the bottom of the pan before use — a flat, magnetic base is required for induction. If that isn’t stated on the packaging or the bottom, the pan is not suitable for induction.

Can I also use the lid to serve mussels?

Yes — and that’s one of the cleverest features of this pan. The lid of the Cosy & Trendy mosselpan can be turned over and used as a serving dish. That way you can serve the mussels straight to the table without needing extra bowls to wash. Practical and no-nonsense.

How many mussels fit in this pan?

The pan has a diameter of 18 centimetres and a capacity of 2.8 litres. That is enough for just over 1 kg of mussels — ideal as a portion for one to two people.

How do I best care for the enameled non-stick coating?
