As a general rule for Bormioli Rocco glass carafes: hand washing extends their lifespan and keeps the glass clear and free of scratches. Use lukewarm water with a mild dish detergent and a soft brush to reach the inside properly.
How do I clean the inside of the carafe properly?
The narrow neck of a carafe makes cleaning slightly different from a regular glass. Here’s how to do it smartly: • Carafe brush: use a long, thin bottle brush to reach the bottom and walls properly. • Warm water + dish soap: fill the carafe partially, close the opening and shake well. • Stubborn stains: a mixture of warm water and white vinegar or rice works excellently as a natural abrasive. After rinsing, let the carafe drain upside down so no moisture remains.
